JAKARTA | KBA – The electability of Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) continues to show an upward trend as recorded in the findings of many surveys. Several survey institutions have found that the electability of the number 1 presidential and vice-presidential pair, backed by the Change Coalition, has reached second place among the three current candidate pairs.
The AMIN National Winning Team welcomes various results from many survey institutions.
“Alhamdulillah, of course, we are grateful that the voice of change is proving to be increasingly strong and loud day by day. From the beginning until today, there are two axes: the axis of change and the axis of continuity,” said Jazilul Fawaid, Assistant Coach of the AMIN National Winning Team, in the talk show “Prabowo-Anies Rocketing, Ganjar ‘Free Falling’?” broadcasted on the YouTube account @tvOne, as quoted by KBA News, Saturday, December 2, 2023.
“From the findings of existing survey institutions, indeed, it is the axis of change that has the militancy of volunteers as well as the track record and experience expected to overcome the situation in 2024-2029,” he continued.
This Deputy General Chairman of DPP PKB believes that public support for the AMIN pair will increase further along with the process of education and political enlightenment to the public.
For example, so far the people do not know much about the controversy of the Constitutional Court (MK) decision that allows regional heads to run in the Presidential Election even if they are under 40 years old, which resulted in Anwar Usman being dismissed as Chairman of the MK for committing serious violations of the code of ethics related to that decision.
“If the public knows more about Uncle Usman, according to the results of the SMRC survey, it gives an electoral rise for the AMIN pair. The public also does not yet know much about the (emergence) of neo-Orba as stated by (PDIP General Chairperson) Bu Mega,” said the politician familiarly known as Gus Jazil.
According to him, political education for citizens is important to be conducted. Even for the AMIN pair, elections are not only about seeking power but also part of democratic political education.
“I am confident that smart citizens, smart voters, will tend to choose the AMIN pair. Because (AMIN) has a clear track record, clear experience, clear achievements, and also a prime figure in terms of physical health. Both are still in their 50s and have never suffered from physical illness,” he explained.
More importantly, he continued, the vision of change advocated by the AMIN pair and the commitment to uphold democracy are enthusiastically welcomed by the public.
“Because these days democracy is suspected to be deteriorating,” he concluded. (kba)
