In the last few days, the power-hungry buzzers have reappeared to attack Anies with the same problems: development managerial incompetence, intolerance, or corruption. They add it with recent attack of him being a liar. Eventually all are baseless accusations and back-fired.
In the last few days, the power-hungry buzzers have reappeared to attack Anies with the same problems: development managerial incompetence, intolerance, or corruption. They add it with recent attack of him being a liar. Eventually all are baseless accusations and back-fired.
DON’T be surprised if the slander against Anies will get louder. And, all of you Anies followers, take it easy, don’t over-respond. Because, they are buzzers who enjoy power, they will certainly not remain silent as the support for Anies continues to flow and grow.
Believe that they will use various dirty and vile ways to prevent him from participating in the 2024 presidential election.
After all, slander and bullying as well as attempts to assassinate Anies’ character are not new, after all. In the 2017 DKI Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada), Anies had already experienced that, especially during the second round.
In fact, while still in the first round, Anies, who was paired with Sandi at that time, was relatively calm. Instead, the Agus-Sylvi couple who were being bullied were beaten by them to a pulp.
Why didn’t Anies get attacked in the first round? First, Anies is basically a “friend”. Wasn’t Anies a spokesman for Jokowi in the 2014 presidential election, then appointed as Minister of Education and Culture, even though only for corn’s age? That he was later fired, still doesn’t erase the impression that Anies is actually not an ordinary friend to him.
Second, the mass base of Anies-Sandi supporters outside the Gerindra and PKS supporters at that time was not yet clear, so it was not at all recognized as a threat to the Ahok-Jarot pair who were backed up by the oligarchic power and power.
Imagine, more than a dozen pollster institutions conducted a poll, almost all of them placing Anies-Sandi in the underdog position. Let alone comparing it to Ahok–Djarot, to Agus–Sylvi only, the Anies-Sandi poll, gasping for air.
However, once he entered the second round, the situation changed 180 degrees and made Anies really positioned as a “former friend”. What’s wrong with Anies? Anies was wrong because he qualified for the second round and Agus-Sylvi supporters, who generally ranged from traditional to moderate Islam, showed signs of flowing towards Anies-Sandi.
Since then, bullying and slander against Anies have appeared in various forms, including black campaigns.
Anies was initially attacked with the issue of identity politics, because the anti-Ahok Islamist group, which previously supported Agus-Sylvi in the first round, ganged up and publicly supported Anies-Sandi. Anies himself did not pay attention to the issue, but the anti-Ahok community who supported him then put up a banner in the mosque.
“This mosque does not pray for the bodies of supporters and defenders of religious blasphemers,” more or less the banner reads, which makes Ahok-Djarot supporters confused.
In fact, the motive for the appearance of the banner was not only because Anies-Sandi was attacked by identity politics. But more as a response to the community who previously received threats that their social assistance would be revoked, if they did not choose the incumbent.
The threat was widely circulated among the people of Jakarta, especially in areas suspected of being the base areas for Anies-Sandi supporters, such as in Tanah Abang and Setiabudi Districts.
Interestingly, after the banner was lively and viral, it seemed that the buzzers of the opposing camp felt that they had received new ammunition. Not long after, the issue of “verses and corpses” arose against Anies-Sandi with a narrative that more or less said that in order to defeat Ahok-Djarot, the issue of identity politics did not work, so Anies-Sandi had to use verses and corpses.
So, what is Anies’ response to the accusation? As usual, he remained calm, not exploding. Cool and calm. In fact, when he was ambushed by the media and asked about it, Anies once again showed his intelligence.
“If the bodies of supporters of 02 are abandoned, I will take care of them myself,” he replied, making everyone who heard him look flabbergasted. Anies’ unexpected answer was short, but it was enough to destroy all the accusations that had hit him.
Starting from identity politics, intolerance, anti-pluralism, even being considered supporters of radicalism because Habib Rizieq Syihab and FPI openly support him, immediately evaporated without a trace.
“Imagining Anies’ answer at that time, it was just like one clap, two or three dead flies lay down. The buzzer group in charge of downgrading Anies, literally ran out of ammo. The only hoax issue they were able to produce after that was “Anies Syi’ah”.
Unfortunately, the issue was too cheap to sell. Evidently, in the second round, Agus–Sylvi supporters, as a whole, chose Anies–Sandi. Even the supporters of Ahok-Djarot were crushed by Anies-Sandi, to almost 1%.
In recent days, the buzzers who enjoy power have re-emerged attacking Anies with the same issue. The difference is, this time they loudly raise the issue of corruption. Also, some have vehemently accused Anies of being a liar.
But don’t worry, maybe their appearance is a sign that Anies’ poll is actually much higher than what was published, just like the second round of the Jakarta Pilkada phenomenon. If that’s true, then, just wait, their voices will grow louder with frenzy.
