Treating everyone as important in their respective roles to win the match will make everyone involved feel valued and appreciated. #aminkanIndonesia
HE presidential election kick-off has been blown, and like a soccer game, each team is using different strategies to win the competition. Something unique about Team AMIN is their placement of lesser-known individuals, including the team captain, Air Marshal (Ret.) Muhammad Syaugi, a combat pilot and former F-16 commander, not widely known to the public.
An interesting statement from Team AMIN’s captain, Air Marshal Muhammad Syaugi, is that the team will prioritize grassroots movements, encouraging active community participation and involvement in winning the election.
For him, the victory of this team won’t be determined by a single individual, such as the captain. Anyone in this line-up can improvise and contribute to the victory, with the ultimate goal of achieving AMIN’s success.
In soccer, the tactic that allows any player to improvise and take shots at the opponent’s goal, not just the strikers or forwards but also the backs and defenders, was first introduced by Rinus Michels, who also coached Ajax Amsterdam and the Dutch national team (Oranje) in 1974. This style of play was later modified by Johan Cruijff during his tenure as coach of FC Barcelona.
This tactic allows all players to constantly swap positions (positional permutation) while pressing the opponent in possession of the ball. Thus, everyone in the game is considered important.
Treating everyone as important in their respective roles to win the match will make everyone involved feel valued and appreciated.
The spirit of teamwork and mutual cooperation, placing participation in an important position, is the spirit that animates Team AMIN from the center to the regions. This spirit must be maintained.
One of the main pillars in Team AMIN is the volunteers. They have already been working long before to socialize Anies and now form a pair with Muhaimin Iskandar. Volunteers are an important force that cannot be overlooked.
They should be treated like other elements in the national team. Accommodating volunteers in one line-up and fighting together is a necessity. Here lies the important role of the captain, co-captain, and the volunteer division to bridge the implementation of total football tactics, where everyone moves, works, and is appreciated under one command of the AMIN victory line-up.
Herein lies the importance of those responsible in the central and regional national teams to place individuals who understand the needs of volunteers and how to treat them as per general human needs – the need to be valued and appreciated.
The large number of volunteers already working and moving is a vast social capital and asset owned by Team AMIN. It’s now a matter of how the winning team maximizes their role and synergizes the work of volunteers within the winning team’s line-up along with the strength of the supporting political parties.
Hopefully, in 2024, a change for the victory of Indonesia will occur.
Thank you to the volunteers who have moved and fought for Indonesia’s victory together with Anies Rasyid Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN).
